In case you don’t have the game on …
While acknowledging pains is still an issue, David Lee has decided to dress for tonight’s game against the Portland Trailblazers.
And right now, Knicks coach Isiah Thomas will take whatever he can get.
Lee never got the benefit of going full speed in practice, so it’s unclear when he’ll be able to do. There’s not enough time left in the season to pace the rebounding force. Not with two other regulars sitting out.
He’s been assured by all of the doctors on the case there’s no risk of damaging the leg further by coming back. Apparently, it’s just a matter of putting up with the pain.

So, 10 minutes, 0-4 FG (0 points), and 8 rebounds thus far. Nothing great, but it’s his first game back. Hopefully he feels alright and can give some quality play down the stretch.
Now can I start panicking?
