Will Hanza, I think you gotta be right. Someone's gotta want a couple of our guys for one of theirs. Even if we don't get fair value it's worth getting something. Of course the guys you want to trade are going to be the hardest but still.

If Nichols doesn't make it, I'm going to assume that it's because Isaiah feels that he doesn't have it. If it's a face saving move to justify his signings, if it's a money saving move for a suddenly thrifty Dolan, then that's why these guys might have to go.

I'm with Will Hanza. If Houston still has it, or has it back, then Mr. Dolan, please, buy out some of these terrible players! It'll cost you less in the long run. Christ, keep D Nichols!
Maybe it's a stretch to call Malik and Jones terrible, but still, I think everbody wants to see Isaiah's draft picks. That's been the most fun we've had in the last couple of years. It shouldn't be Houston or Nichols. This is really the kind of thing that frustrates me as a Knick fan.

KFFL, the Shaq+Kobe lakers won three championships with a weak bench. Some will even say they had weak starters too with the exception of Shaq and Kobe.

Cut Malik and James to fit Jones & Houston

I still think a 3 for 2 or 1 trade can happen, though

The celtics are definatly not a contender...what team has ever won a championship with a weak bench?....thats right...not one. The celts aren't making it past the second round.

The NYK need ALL of the outside shooting help they can get. The way to beat this Knick team right now will be to pack in a zone and dare them to hit shots from the outside, something that cannot consistently do right now. Having a healthy Houston coming off the bench will definitely stretch defenses and allow the inside post game to free up, not to mention rebounding. If he is even 80% of his former self, he can definitely help and is worth dumping that stiff Jerome James to free up a spot. Of course 'D' will be an issue, but the offensive firepower and the effort other teams will need to make to defend him is worth it.

A good sign ? 5 guys on this roster have to be cut. Some w/ big money, Doc Rivers also did hell of a job w. the Orlando Magic w/ 1 star in T-mac, now he has a Big 3 in KG, PP, and Ray Allen stop fooling yourself Rafa, the Celttics are a contender and that pains me to say as a Knicks fan because I despise that Celtics team.

Who says the Celtics is championship contender? Remeber, they coach is Doc Rivers. And they have to biuld some chemistry and I don't think they are in that level yet. The Spurs are the to be beaten.
The knicks will only benefit from Houston. Leadership, smooth touch. Playoffs experience.
Its a good sign.

If he can still play I wan't him here, If he can't I think Isiah will cut him. He may very well get injured again after a month or so but if he is healed and can still shoot He can help this team.
