Curry has a cartilage tear

The season might very well be over for Eddy Curry, who discovered a sore right knee is the result of a small cartilage tear. He would probably keep playing if the remainder of the season actually meant something. There’s no reason to risk further injury at 18-45.
Curry was just beginning to come around, too.
Does anybody still believe Curry and Zach Randolph will be paired in the front court when next season gets under way? The experiment never really got off the ground with all of the goings on. They seemed to get in each other’s way more than anything else.
Opposing teams never had to adjust, which is the way Isiah Thomas sold the acquisition.
Curry is not with the Knicks in Dallas. He went for an MRI today, and has been instructed to sit down and rest a while. He’ll be checked out in the next few days, and then a decision will be made about surgery.

Ouch. That sucks. I hope he’s OK and Isiah/Curry better agree that it’s best to shut it down and not risk further injury.
With that being said, this will hurt Curry’s trade value if they plan on exploring that option this offseason. Especially if the Knicks manage to strong some wins together with him out of the lineup.
Would love to see at least 25mpg out of Morris though.
Curry is a different player without Randolph.
Get rid of both, especially Randolph.
Carrying around all that weight, I’m surprised both of Curry’s knees haven’t exploded by now. Is this a new injury or has this soreness actually been around for a while?
It seems unlikely that Curry has any trade value at this point. It’s like everybody is allergic to this guy, which is ok with me. I’d like to see him stay, but he needs to look a little bit more like Dwight Howard and a little bit less like Ryan Howard.
I agree with Starks4ThreeYes. Curry’s carrying around much more weight then he should be. The dude needs to use this rehab time to shed some lbs and hit the weights. It’s obvious that because of no being able to co-exist with Z-Bo, Curry has kind of let himself go, hence this injury.
Mike, have the NYK given any indication of what is going to happen to Isiah? Right now, my gut tells me that he might be here next season. What do you think?
I agree with all of you.. its the weight that causes it
Well that really deals a blow to our playoff hopes.
I didn’t see the Portland game. Why wasn’t Morris active?
“The season might very well be over” the season has been over since the Poisonburry & Znake incident in Phoenix.
Does anybody still believe Oliver Miller and Zach Randolph will be paired in the front court when next season gets under way? Yes, Znake will never be able to unload either one of them, if he’s still here.
“the season has been over since the Poisonburry & Znake incident in Phoenix.”
If you’re to go that far back then I’d suggest this season was over when Dolan gave Isiah Thomas the contract extension mid last season and literally endorsed under-achieving as a art form from the top of management, to the coach, and right down to the players.
