It hasn't been a month and you guys are already talking ish about Donnie Walsh.

Its no wonder we have the worst team in the NBA. NY fans are insatiable. Nothing ever satisfies you.

Stick your thumb in your mouth and wait. Championship teams aren't built overnight. In the meanwhile, go watch the Nets or something. They need more fans anyway.

Sunil,
I'd hardly call MSG the "real business world" and the reason that no one wants to "chill" is that this is ridiculously beyond overdue.

I think Dolan wants to make Isiah's exit as graceful as possible. They are friends and Walsh likes Isiah as well, however, it's time to put the fans first.

you guys need to all take a chill pill.
this is all taking place in the real business world.
not in your mothers basement or local pub.
what difference does a day or two make ?
none.

I agree with both of these comments.

I heard an interview with Chris Sheridan on ESPN and they asked him how Knicks fans feel about a two year wait until a rebuilding process can even begin. He said, interestingly, that most of us were ready for it and wanted it. We all know what bringing in a twenty point a game scorer from a bad team does, and it's worse than nothing. Imagine that Zach's contract might keep us from aquiring LeBron. It's mind blowing. What a state of affairs. Donnie, the fan base does not want a quick fix and we want Isiah's head.

Andrew,

Isiah Thomas will get his money no matter what so what is the difference? How do they expect Donnie Walsh, a new GM and a new Coach to do their job with that snake/roach/rat in the background?

The fact that Donnie Walsh is even considering keeping that rat/snake/roach already puts 3 strikes on his ass from me. I do not want someone so stupid running this franchise. Say what you want but if Walsh keeps Isiah Thomas out of sympathy, I will be the first one here to call for his firing.

How do you justify it?

Thats easy. Dolan doesnt want to lose another 15 million (or whatever IT's contract is) because of IT, he already had to pay out for the law suit. The other reason is Dolan thinks it makes him look like less of a fool for sticking with Isiah and stupidly giving him a contract last year. As long as he doesn't have any say in the decisions from this point, who cares. Short of Dolan selling the team that may have to be good enough for us. We only need Walsh to have the power he needs to fix this team over time and as long as Isiah is nothing more then a scout who cares.

Donnie Walsh is starting to annoy me. Two coaches were already fired and that loser Isiah Thomas is still here. What is the hold up? He should have been fired at the buzzer in Indiana. What has Isiah done to even be considered for another position? To keep Isiah tells me Walsh is another puppet with no real power. To keep Isiah is a slap in the face to every fan of this team. How do you justify keeping the very worst GM and Coach in Knicks history? It's truly a disgrace.
