Whew!

I thought they were going to blow it there for a minute - especially when Nate had his crazy dribble there before being fouled for the second time in the waning moments.

But this is what winning teams do - they figure out a way to win, doesn't matter how.

For all of the LB teams that lost on the final possession because no one but Penny could in-bound the ball or set up a final shot, and for all of the Isiah teams that would have mad-dashes of their own to make it interesting in the 4th, but come up short - hoorah for this win!

But, then again, it was over a Miami team that only won 15 games last year. So happy for today, but definitely need to focus on the whole 'one game at at time' thing.

I don't. I understand that Eddy was sick for a week during pre-season, but he still came in out of shape! The guy knew for a long time that he'd HAVE to be in tip top once D'Antoni was hired.
He Deserved it!

I agree. Very positive game tonight, and I loved Chandler's heavy minutes. This was an important game for the fans, and the Knicks did not let us down!b

Knicks looked good tonight. Big win to start tonight. This is the the way you wanna see the play, because they didn't do anything spectacularly but did all the important things well enough. And this is the way they're going to play in most of their wins.

Not happy with the lead they blew. But I can live with that. It's pretty hard to maintain any big lead in the NBA. (Daequan Cook, another in a long of mediocre bench players who kill the Knicks I guess)

Philly and Milwaukee are winnable games coming up. This win is definitely cause for some (tempered) optimism. Gotta build on this win.

[Seeing Wilson Chandler get heavy minutes this year is going to be a thrill]

The way it should be. Double digit lead at halftime, and still no sign of Marbury or Curry.
