Ill tell you what happened Albany knick. D'antoni saw Singletarys press conference.

"I'd rather play with 10 people … than play with 11 when I know that right now that person is not sold out to be a part of this team, It is more about them than it is about the team. Cannot play with them, cannot win with them, cannot coach with them. Can't do it. I want winners."

Its like he looked directly into Marburys soul when he said this.

Steph definitely should've gotten some minutes. Maybe could have even helped down the stretch when the Heat started to come back. Was shocked though, at the Steph chants. Anyways, found some cool ticket deals that I feel every knicks fan should be made aware of. For the 11/2 and 11/5 games, tickets will be 50% off when you buy them at nyknicks.com and type in FACE. Also, there is a free ticket sweepstakes at http://www.msg.com/sweepstakes/knickstickets.html. I love Steph, always have, but whatever it takes to finally start winning some games is what must be done.

Has it occurred to anyone that Stephon may not be as good as Mardy Collins at this point? Certainly it's true on the defensive end. Collins is big and strong and has won a job fair and square. D'Antoni shouldn't be hedging and talking about the future. Curry, also, is not good enough to earn minutes right now.

I'm really happy with the way D'Antoni is handling the team. I mean, David Lee is our starting center now. That's great, he has earned it over and over and he finally has a coach who doesn't play guys according to their salaries. Lee was fantastic last night as was Jamal and, maybe the best player on the team now, Wilson Chandler. The role players played well and we were too talented and overwhelmed a Heat team with two all stars and the #2 pick in the draft.

Zach still takes too many outside shots but he is a beast when he plays his real game and having fat Eddy out of the game opens things up for him. At last, we seem to have someone with common sense running this team.

D'Antoni is fiery as well. He was very unhappy when the team took their foot off the gas at the end. He's no push over. That stuff should get fixed.

I don't have much to say about a bench warmer. I don't feel badly for Marbury. The Knicks won. I'm happy for him.

This may be pretty low on the list of indicators for other fans, but one of the things I found most encouraging was that QRich was draining the open shot [5 for 9 from the field including 2 of 5 from three]. There was a rhythm that the team has lacked these past years. There are playmakers [Crawford, Robinson, Randolph, Chandler] who will cause havoc in the open floor and in the paint, drawing help defense and prompting rotations. The other guys HAVE to be able to knock down the open looks when they spot up and the ball swings on the extra pass. Now David Lee might be able to knock down that open outside look, too? Oh baby.

The Knicks will get hurt inside this season. They don't have much interior presence. It seemed at times like Haslem was picking on guys and the Knicks have Garnett, Brand, and Bosh in the division. Forget about guarding the centers.

I'm ready to make my prediction: a respectable 38-44. And I will hold myself accountable.

I kind of felt a twinge of pity for Marbunny, but at the same time, I'm psyched this coaching staff is looking towards the future and developing the guys that will be here next year and maybe beyond. Thanks for everything Steph, but this isn't your team anymore.

Lovin' the way Steph is handling this so far. I mean, I also love that he's not touching the floor, but it's smart of him to keep his mouth shut. I thought we played real well tonight. I know it's only the heat, but until midway into the fourth we were dominating. I think waht we saw is a team that doesn't know how to finish off wins. They were just coasting, holding onto the ball instead of fast paced passing. Once they learn how to not coast and continue to keep up the scoring, they'll win with regularity.
