Well, hellllllllooooooooo!!!
It’s been a while — actually, it’s been almost two years — but who’s counting?
The point is that The LoHud Knicks Blog is finally back, and it’s going to be better than ever!
The fine folks at The Journal News have entrusted me with the honor of restoring this once mighty blog to its rightful place as your go-to source for New York Knicks news, analysis and insight, and I couldn’t be happier.
Many of you are already loyal followers of The LoHud Yankee Blog, and my goal is to emulate the trailblazing efforts of Chad Jennings and Sam Borden, by stokin’ your thought provokin’.
That’s right, you can expect a healthy dose of Clyde-speak ‘round these parts.
These are exciting times for the Knicks and their fans. New players have brought excitement, and that excitement has bred hope. One can make a strong argument — despite last decade’s doldrums — that New York City is a basketball town at heart, and that’s why it’s the perfect time to relaunch and re-energize this blog.
I would be remiss if I didn’t sincerely acknowledge the care and attention paid to this blog by its original steward, Mike Doughtery, and I hope that original fans of his work will continue to support the new version.
Finally, a word to you, the readers.
Without your participation, this blog cannot function as intended. Your voices matter, and we want to hear from you.
Have a take on the last game’s awful 4th quarter clock management? Let us know.
Think that Coach D’Antoni needs a little Just for Men on his mustache? Shout it out.
Looking to grab a drink with Isiah Thomas? Eh, we can’t help you there, but you get the idea.
Let’s keep it civil, keep it fun, and the rest will take care of itself. For my part, I promise to keep crankin’ it out for as long as you keep enjoyin’ it. Let the games begin!

Welcome back. Exciting times for this team. Looking forward to playoff basketball for the first time in forever. Perhaps you can give us some insight as to if/when this team might ever play some D.
As regards “D,” Jeffries is looking like a modern Bill Russell, with his all-around defensive play. No kidding. Also no kidding the team needs to work him into the offensive scheme, because he is not making any kind of offensive contribution, granted it is hard to do that when you almost never have the ball. Two hotshots and three stone monuments is one extremely poor “team concept.”
