I will leave it for someone else to provide the game recap beyond what’s staring you in the face above, but rest assured that tomorrow will bring a full description of what went wrong — and a few things what went right — plus what the Knicks will need to do against the Celtics in Game 2.
Although I wrote in before tip-off tonight that I suspected the officials would have a significant role to play in how this series turned out, I certainly never expected such an immediate — and egregious — failure to do their jobs. More to come when the sun rises.

Never fails figured down the stretch you wondered where will the refs impact the game and with 20 seconds left they call a foul on Carmelo Anthony and when the show the replay Paul Pierce is clearly over Carmelo’s back what was he suppose to do? Now if you are going to make that call with 20seconds left in the game which the ref’s took a possession away from the Knicks, why not call the Ray Allen foul when Carmelo shot the 3pointer at the end.
The league has got to figure this all out, too many people said that was a terrible call by the ref.
In response to you & rob, your right, don’t forget about Garnett tripping Douglas, no call again, this is just obvious and ridiculous

I sent you a picture on twitter about Paul Pierce on Melo’s shot, the ball clearly hit the rim and bounced off before pierce was close to it
