The New York Knicks have announced that Jeremy Lin’s jersey that was worn during the team’s victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on Feb. 10 is being auctioned off to benefit the Garden of Dreams Foundation, a nonprofit organization making dreams come true for children facing obstacles. Lin posted a career high of 38 points, seven assists, four rebounds and two steals in that game. Fans can now bid for the autographed jersey, four tickets and a post-game meet and greet with Lin for the Feb. 22 game versus Atlanta, on CharityBuzz.com. The online auction will end on Feb. 21.
Garden of Dreams is a 501(c) (3) non-profit charity that works closely with all areas of The Madison Square Garden Company, including the New York Knicks, Rangers, Liberty, MSG Networks, MSG Entertainment and Fuse. Garden of Dreams has worked tirelessly to fulfill its mission by creating unique and unforgettable events and activities – often involving unprecedented access to Madison Square Garden celebrities, events and venues – that have brightened the lives of thousands and thousands of special children and their families.
