The Knicks will have to take on the Indiana Pacers without Carmelo Anthony.
Anthony’s postgame visits to Kevin Garnett’s locker room and Kevin Garnett’s bus have cost him a game, and slightly more than $176,000 in pay.
It’s too bad- the Pacers were going to be tough with Anthony. And with the Knicks looking to limit Amar’e Stoudemire’s minutes after he felt soreness following the Boston game, let’s hope J.R. Smith has 35 points in him.
That Friday night game against the Bulls looms as a chance at redemption, a chance to show that the Knicks can handle a physical team, a chance for Melo to keep his cool… And possibly, a chance to avoid losing three in a row.

Because of his lack of self-control, there’s no shot that the Knicks beat the Pacers tonight; it’s more about hope bad they’ll be beaten. Everyone knows that KG’ s mouth no limit and his “talent” took Melo out of the game against the Celtics and now out of the game against the Pacers.
